Her comments are simple because from those simple beliefs all complex problems fall away. As this country quietly and slowly descends into third world status, Americans continue to support the very ideology that will destroy them while empowering the likes of Ms Palin.

On page 269, the last page of the manuscript, the Author says: “We can and should call each other out when we fall short of our beliefs.” America by Heart “calls out Sarah Palin” as she falls short of our beliefs.

It lacks any semblance of coherent structure or thesis, it’s written at what can generously be described as a fourth-grade proficiency level, it mistakes trite cliches for insight, it’s littered with egregious factual errors, and it’s filled with appalling hypocrisy. As but one example of the latter, Palin at once mocks American Idol contestants as “self-esteem enhanced but talent-deprived performers” while blindly praising her own celebrity-seeking, talent-deprived daughter Bristol for “challenging herself in a new, fun way” on Dancing With the Stars. Reagan was the greatest president of all time. The mainstream, “lame stream” liberal media, intellectuals, Hollywood, and academic and cultural elites are trying to destroy America.

What does her mistake tell me? Than she’s picking phrases out of books or earlier speeches and using them prior to 2008 (then you can’t blame them on Obama) before deciding to rally around her. Palin believes her independent nature is a trait of Alaskans, whom she claims often feel as though Washington was still treating as backwards gold prospectors who were not from a state on equal footing with the other 49, but from a territory that could be manipulated at federal will. I was not moved by America by Heart in the same way I was by Palin’s earlier memoir, Going Rogue: An American Life. Mrs Palin talks about Hollywood’s responsibility, and mentions two movies called Rendition, and Green Zone. She said something very interesting. Sigh, when will the far right actually read this clause? It states as I said an “establishment of religion”, not “of a religion”. However once she began to speak publicly, without a script, I got very nervous. It was clear she had a lot of catching up to do on current events and important historical contexts.

This book is an ocean. Quite frankly, the book is good and I would suggest that you read it and make up your own mind about it rather than to form an opinion based on the obvious bias you’ll find here by some reviewers. She isn’t a Harvard graduate but she is a proud American who knows the reality of Family and middle class life. Loved this book, showed Sarah’s opinions for sure, but gave a good overview of America. This must be the stupidest, most copied, least original book that I have ever read. Waste of money and time.

Their personal attacks will only create more Palin supporters every day. There are specific themes which echo much of what she discusses in her weekly blog. But there’s nothing angry about her writing, nothing haughty. And because of her approach and the honest life lessons she shares, my guess is that even some who rally against her politics will discover a lot of themselves in the family, faith, and flag she treasures. I hold many liberal views, wanted to learn more of Palin’s views, and only got shot down by her for being liberal. I’m not shooting her down; I’m trying to learn more about her, more about how she would run a nation.

We owe a great debt to a relatively unknown state official from Alaska who is using her charisma and fame to bring us back to the North Star of our journey through life. cheap acoustic guitar.

It’s the grit of our national character. It’s our faith in God, how it has shaped our nation and continues to fortify us as a people.”

Discover why women were given the right to vote in Wyoming and Territorial Alaska many years before women gained these rights throughout America. Sarah Palin addresses how Christians are losing their rights to religious expression. Someone by the name of Hitler did the same thing and you are simply dangerous for this country. I did enjoy reading it somewhat because I was hearing a combination of Palin’s voice and Tina Feys in my head. I strongly recommend it. One more piece of pulp from the Palin money machine.

That alone shows that Palin is entertaining and short of any substance. How dare she question the President and the First Lady’s feelings of America. Basically it can be summed up as follows. America and Americans are exceptional.

Ms Palin’s views on domestic policy, foreign policy and all other policies are a refreshing reminder that we can proudly say that we are in fact witnessing the emergence of a new breed of leader. Thank you, Governor, for having the courage to step out and risk scorn and ridicule from the political, media, academic and all other elites. Boy oh boy do I regret that decision. She rambles on and on about nothing it seems. If you must read it – do yourself a favor and borrow someone else’s or check the library. Don’t waste your money on this one. In using this phrase here move to a different location. Enemy-centric is not a term meaning friendly towards the enemy as Palin indicates in her writing. It’s a good read. Enjoy and learn why this country is great and how the Left is attempting to take America apart.

I was impressed by Palin after finishing this. If you hate her, don’t bother educating yourself about her beliefs; just keep on with the mindless bashing.

For her, parroting patriotic slogans, attacking her opponents and promoting failed policies from the past is what passes for political discourse. It’s astonishing that so many Americans take her seriously.

She diligently recognizes America’s contemporary and historical faults (such as the institution of slavery), but is simultaneously able to highlight our country’s underlying, unique ideals of freedom and limited government. The Governor demonstrates a clear understanding of our country’s foundation and gives the audience hope of a stronger and healthier America that, as long as it adheres to the values as set forth by our Founders, will once again prosper.

What greater patriotism than to sacrifice her privacy and serenity, and that of her family’s, for the sake of our country” sugar free food.

Instead, Sarah ought to take a look at a series of films directed, again, by Frank Capra, called Why We Fight. These are WWII films directed against the Nazi war machine.

Instead, Sarah ought to take a look at a series of films directed, again, by Frank Capra, called Why We Fight. These are WWII films directed against the Nazi war machine.

Even more memorable for anyone who was a kid in the ’50’s was the fear we lived with of being incinerated by an atomic bomb in a nuclear war with Russia. Some people were so frightened that they were excavating their back yards to put in bomb shelters in a vain hope of surviving such an attack. And she started off well. The book opens with “Do you love your freedom?” If you must read it – do yourself a favor and borrow someone else’s or check the library. Don’t waste your money on this one. Government is too big, and we need more state’s rights. We need more God in our lives because it’s the only way to be a virtuous people. In the book Sarah talks about how she was captivated by the events in Russia when she was younger – I think we all were. What really happens is that Obamacare would take all the money I make at work, and just spend it on other people, their abortions and their welfare. After all, Christian conservatives like her never worked to get those things inserted when the pledge and our currency didn’t have them, wait, that’s exactly what they did! I expect fully to get negative ratings with this review because to criticize Palin to a far right-winger is like criticizing Jesus himself. Read about the Mojava Cross which has become “the cross in the box.” Sarah quotes the prayer of Franklin Roosevelt that according to some was the largest mass prayer of all times.

Someone by the name of Hitler did the same thing and you are simply dangerous for this country. I did enjoy reading it somewhat because I was hearing a combination of Palin’s voice and Tina Feys in my head. Who is putting money down on this chick? She is like the second coming of Dan Quayle and we don’t need any more overblown tired turkeys.

If you choose to buy this book, I have one question: Would you like to buy a bottle of “Magic Hair Restorer” to go along with it? She has tainted the field of literature for years to come.

All these one star folks do is write nasty comments about any Conservative book writer. No one is going to make them happy other than some other liberal dunce who thinks like them.

Rarely do we get a reasoned, candid and evocative narrative from the American heartland. Sarah Palin outdoes herself from “Going Rogue” and helps dispel many of the major myths distorting our basic family values.

The only thing more frightening than this book is the number of Americans who will think that it is well-written and filled with good thinking. We currently have a man and a party running the United States of America who clearly do not like America and want to punish America by turning her into some Socialistic Utopia that could only evolve by the leadership of those who we have been waiting for. But I traveled all over America and met so many great Americans, not famous people, not astronauts, not movie stars but people who had made their modest mark on American history. I read the story of our Constitution and how it was written and came to realize that even with all our high-tech achievements and our “sophistication” we had no monopoly on genius.

The mainstream, “lame stream” liberal media, intellectuals, Hollywood, and academic and cultural elites are trying to destroy America. CONTEMPORARY COFFEE TABLES.

Simply put, she gets things done. It’s very straight forward, easy read which I highly recommend for anyone looking for inspiration and a great role model. Here’s more optimism and faith from a regular, hard-working person, of the kind who made America great. Extolling the good qualities in others is Palin’s style. By the way conservatives, please support Palin for president. I read the first chapter and had no interest in continuing. Sarah Palin is NO Ronald Reagan, she is NO Abe Lincoln, and she is most certainly NOT Thomas Jefferson. I don’t even think Sarah Palin wrote the scribblings that were on her hand.

American exceptionalism is being compromised by a President who wants to assuage dictators and share power. Palin would restore greatness to the United States of America by withdrawing federal authority and restoring more autonomy at the state level.

You’ll notice there’s very little comment on the actual content and mostly ad hominem nonsense. Intellectually sad, and is another example of why political power is quickly being lost on the left.

For the rest, if you pretend that the book is a parody of conservatism in the 21st century, it does provide some entertainment. There are so many things I want to say about America by Heart. I am not comparing her to anyone else; I am simply saying that I have certain standards I expect my elected officials to meet and surpass, and I expect certain things of those that call themselves Christian. She has fallen far short in both these areas. I know she respects John McCain, but how much better she has become by NOT being involved with THAT mess anymore. His plaque says conservative but his progressive ways seem to poison whatever he does.

If people would have gone to the booths with these words, we wouldn’t have elected Obama. I’ve read both of Sarah Palin’s books and the “voice” in this book is different than the “voice” in her first book.

Either way this book is purely money in her pocket and not at all worth the time I wasted/lost reading it, and complete waste of trees. I confess I only read the first chapter in the “Read it now” function on Amazon. The constitution of the United States prohibits certain actions including prohibiting an “establishment of religion”. By the way, Palin states that a cross on public land doesn’t violate the constitution because it doesn’t establish a religion.

And she started off well. The book opens with “Do you love your freedom?”

In reading this book, I saw myself. When I was growing up there were so many criticisms of our country, so many things that certain people zeroed in as “proof” that America was not really that great a country. I read yours from the library first and like it so much that I am buying it as a Christmas present to myself. Thank you very much.

And the writing style is uncluttered and forthright. dog food suppliers.

Thirty years ago, people like Ms Palin would not be given the spot light, much less be paid to write a book. She would have been exposed immediately as an intellectual fraud and therefore ignored. This is an excellent book as it delivers many messages from heart to heart. I recommend it to all ages, especially our youth.

Sadly this book convinces me more that she does not possess the level of intelligence and depth of thinking that is needed for today’s complex problems. I gave 5 stars and she deserves 10 stars. This is a uniquely crafted book that serves more as a cultural, historical, and religious manifesto, rather than a personal one — which is what I was actually expecting. Political science students won’t get it. She complains in the book about Hollywood (Hollywood being evil to those on the far right except for conservative actors) making films critical of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and our anti-terrorism policy while troops are fighting.

I didn’t find Palin’s blueprint for restoring American greatness all that inspiring, even though I find her a champion of commonsense Constitutional conservatism. I loved the book and its heartfelt and sincere look at America.

They are a brand, and they brand things generated by others in order to guarantee big sales. It’s not a 100% honest practice but when big bucks are involved, ethics both personal and corporate take a back seat. The many quotes and references Palin uses from the pages of history, our founding fathers, and more recent conservative leaders such as Ronald Reagan, confirmed to me what is good and worth fighting for in America. Book shipped and arrived great. Is it because she is more attractive than most movie stars? If you are buying this book because you think it was actually signed by Sarah Palin – STOP! “America by Heart” is a book for all who believe that a lack of faith is What’s Wrong With Our Country. In effect throwing millions off the land and into multinational assembly plants or worse, across the border to look for work? This is just a sample of her writing and pretty much the whole book has little if any evidence to back her claims.

Boy oh boy do I regret that decision. She rambles on and on about nothing it seems. Also, I have odd suspicions about her faith (Palin, not Meyer, who is clearly a Mormon). For one thing, she never quotes the bible, instead throwing in the overused pagan truism “god helps those who help themselves” from Aesop’s fable about Hercules and the carter.

She is down-to-earth and would make a great President. Sarah Palin’s courage astounds me.

It’s the introduction and the first chapter and is plenty to let you see what kind of manipulation she is up to. nugo bars.

Notice that the negative reviews avoid substance almost entirely. I would wager that the vast majority of Americans regardless of political belief will find much that they agree with here.

What Palin adds is some description of the destruction to people and country caused when we forget the truth of those old verities. People who want to believe in quick fixes, who hate the idea of competition and believe that we can all just get along if only we hold hands and sing Kumbaya, are not going to like this book.

Why not anything about how capitalism is changing and how that might affect our democracy? How about ideas for how we should change to energy sources not based on oil because even if we drill we will run out? The liberals drink red wine and laugh at your stupidity; the Republicans eat meat and drink beer and sympathize with your ideals. The liberals want to extend handouts to favored friends, leaving you with the bill; the Republicans want to kick out special interest groups and let you control your own income. Not greedy Americans who don’t know when to stop spending. According to Palin’s “America by Heart,” the answer to our problems lies in our “Lack of Christian Faith.” You’ll notice there’s very little comment on the actual content and mostly ad hominem nonsense. Intellectually sad, and is another example of why political power is quickly being lost on the left.

OK, I’m a big fan of hers. I admit it.

Her public should love this book. For everyone else, read it for light amusing entertainment. In effect throwing millions off the land and into multinational assembly plants or worse, across the border to look for work? This is just a sample of her writing and pretty much the whole book has little if any evidence to back her claims.

I’m 99% certain that this was ghost-written (I didn’t see the word “repudiate” anywhere) by someone who has never actually studied history or political science. Howling errors and insane ideological statements abound; I don’t even recommend reading this for a laugh. God bless Sarah and her family, as she shouts to the world how great our country is. Hope I might share in person with her one day, as our military family is based out of Ft Wainwright.

Sarah Palin did not write this book. In addition, she offers nothing new. There are millions and millions of us out here who could benefit from your spot-on ideas on how to govern, and who are benefitting from your exuberant, kind, capable, generous and hilarious existence. I suspect that most of the mean-spirited, rude attacks are from people who are simply jealous. I take heart that there are still people out there who are willing to voice their feelings and beliefs so well and to share them with any and all. Her writing style is very easy to consume and she does an admirable job of expressing her core values. In America By Heart Palin shares many stories about hiking, climbing and hunting and she definitely comes across as a mother figure at home in the Last Frontier. She talks of her forty years living with Alaska’s vast wilderness as her backyard and she knows whereof she speaks.

I can’t understand the attraction to this money-grubbing family. WHITE OTTOMAN.

When I read nonfiction, I want something that raises the level of discourse, stretches my thinking, presents new ideas, challenges my old ones, and expands my horizons. I have found none of these in this book because it's all the same old ideas she's hashed over since she was introduced to the nation, and they weren't new ideas then. It is too bad that some people don't bother to at least consider some of these ideas. They are, as I said, not new. The liberals can't relate to anyone that doesn't mimic their ridiculous message.

When I read nonfiction, I want something that raises the level of discourse, stretches my thinking, presents new ideas, challenges my old ones, and expands my horizons. I have found none of these in this book because it’s all the same old ideas she’s hashed over since she was introduced to the nation, and they weren’t new ideas then. It is too bad that some people don’t bother to at least consider some of these ideas. They are, as I said, not new. The liberals can’t relate to anyone that doesn’t mimic their ridiculous message. According to the liberals every democratic president or candidate is so intelligent and the conservative candidates are all stupid and probably cheated in school if they do have a good educational background.

I also suggest that you resist only accepting reviews from professional haters. If the latter doesn’t describe you; if you consider yourself open and fair, you’ll be rewarded with a good read, and perhaps new insight.

That she is not patriotic. In fact, anyone who loves this country, despite disagreement with our President would still respect the power of the office and all it stands for. Sarah Palin believes it is unpatriotic to dissent from a war. Or, she thinks you are really not a good American if you do so. Here’s more optimism and faith from a regular, hard-working person, of the kind who made America great. Extolling the good qualities in others is Palin’s style.

Obama was really wearing me down. I was getting depressed about America. Examples include that there is no substitute for “quantity” time with our kids. Another example is the discussion of the high probability that if you have a child out of wedlock, before age 20, it is quite likely you will live in poverty, and your child will end up in jail. He went on to speak of our allies during WWII and our invaluable help that was provided which aided them greatly in becoming the strong, dependable countries they are today. We can count on the help of their military in our fight against terrorists whose greatest desire is to see us fail. The tears in her eyes during speeches and prayers are very real. She doesn’t just dwell on “theory” she actually LIVES life and her life experiences reinforce her views…and by life, I don’t mean the same lives of materialism, superficiality, boredom, and conformity most modern Americans tend to lead.

I found the book to be thought provoking and heartfelt look at America. She’s spent a lot of time getting to know average Americans and admires the everyday strength of people quietly going about their lives.

For a book purporting to be about all the nice things this country has to offer, the author sure gets her nasty little “political” digs in. It’s certainly not a book to be giving in this gift-giving season. It is often asserted that the world has made a great deal of progress since 1776, that we have had new thoughts and new experiences which have given us a great advance over the people of that day, and that we may therefore very well discard their conclusions for something more modern.

If you must read it – do yourself a favor and borrow someone else’s or check the library. wooden lateral filing cabinets.

Here’s more optimism and faith from a regular, hard-working person, of the kind who made America great. Extolling the good qualities in others is Palin’s style. I’m very disappointed in the first 100 – 130 pages. Then it started to get better.

Even more memorable for anyone who was a kid in the ’50’s was the fear we lived with of being incinerated by an atomic bomb in a nuclear war with Russia. Some people were so frightened that they were excavating their back yards to put in bomb shelters in a vain hope of surviving such an attack. I found the book to be thought provoking and heartfelt look at America. She’s spent a lot of time getting to know average Americans and admires the everyday strength of people quietly going about their lives. For the rest, if you pretend that the book is a parody of conservatism in the 21st century, it does provide some entertainment. There are so many things I want to say about America by Heart. I bought this book on CD to listen to while traveling. I thought it was very good and very well written. Sarah Palin did not write this book. In addition, she offers nothing new.

God bless Sarah Palin and God bless America. If you like Sarah and she makes sense to you – you will love the book. If you choose to buy this book, I have one question: Would you like to buy a bottle of “Magic Hair Restorer” to go along with it? She has tainted the field of literature for years to come. I suppose this book could be valuable in a college class which examines how rhetoric and emotionalism can be used to manipulate the masses. This is hardly a new tactic. I hope you read this book in its entirety and think about it. I loved the book.

Someone by the name of Hitler did the same thing and you are simply dangerous for this country. I did enjoy reading it somewhat because I was hearing a combination of Palin’s voice and Tina Feys in my head.

In fact, she believes it is an affront and an insult for them to even dare to object to this government promotion. Well, she might have a point, when the government has been promoting something for less than 60 years that means it can never be challenged. “Papers are easy,” she said, “I just get all my quotes together, and then fill in the spaces with transitions and BS.” Basically, Sarah Palin seems to be the Stephanie Meyer of politics – very popular, but ultimately not a contender for the highest quality (with apologies to Meyer, who has only published one book I haven’t read, and can improve). And, of course, there was the great Red Scare led by Senator Joseph McCarthy which had Americans looking for Communists behind every hedge and turning in friends and co-workers as “fellow-travelers.” Lives of good people were ruined by McCarthy’s crazed witch hunt.

Amazon has the DVDs. Small Quiet Generator.

James Madison, one of the more “populist” of the Founders, noted that the government needed to “protect the minority of the opulent from the majority.” He realized, that is, that as America’s land wealth became more and more concentrated, the people would become more and more fractious.

In truth, “prejudice” is an ugly word and it amply describes the liberal mindset in this country. Sarah Palin sounds like Ronald Reagan.

It’s a more sophisticated version of a ‘Chicken soup for the American Constitutional Conservative’s Soul.’ It just made me feel warm and good inside each section I read. Sarah has recorded for us her feelings and thoughts and stories of past, her experiences after the 2008 election and the rise of the tea party who are freedom loving Americans who feel they are not being heard or represented at all by our current government.

I think it will give you an insight of why so many of us would like to see more of her in the future. It would be fine with me to have this “Mama Grizzly” at the helm, someday! No way are these books signed personally by Palin. I ordered two and the signatures are identical-stroke for stroke. I don’t know how we Americans came to this dark place but I see the writing on the wall; Ms Palin is a winner – she is the America of tomorrow. This is how great empires fall; why should America be any different. How can anyone buy this fake book? She had a publishing staff write it and is just cashing in. I have read the many mean-spirited attacks of Sarah Palin by people here that claim to have read the book. One person even said she read it in less than four hours.

She is like Middle America; a composite of who we are. Not perfect but with ideals and pride for this country. This book is an ocean. Quite frankly, the book is good and I would suggest that you read it and make up your own mind about it rather than to form an opinion based on the obvious bias you’ll find here by some reviewers. There I was brought to tears by the magnificence of these amazing aviators when my brother, knowing what I was thinking, handed me a note. Scribbled in black Sharpie on the back of his entrance ticket was the message. I’m 99% certain that this was ghost-written (I didn’t see the word “repudiate” anywhere) by someone who has never actually studied history or political science. Howling errors and insane ideological statements abound; I don’t even recommend reading this for a laugh.

More than seventy years later, we still watch it and judge Washington against it, because it is happily, unabashedly pro-American–not pro-government, certainly, but definitely pro-American.”. POOL LANDSCAPING IDEAS.

I urge you to read this book and reach your own conclusions. Whatever you conclude about Ms Palin after reading it, at a minimum you'll find this book interesting, thought-provoking rather than fluffy; personal rather than superficial. The finest line in the book is when she tells us that, we are not children, and President Obama is not our father. Prior to reading this book, I found Sarah Palin to be an interesting, refreshing politician who I enjoyed listening to. If you choose to buy this book, I have one question: Would you like to buy a bottle of "Magic Hair Restorer" to go along with it? She has tainted the field of literature for years to come. Not greedy Americans who don't know when to stop spending. According to Palin's "America by Heart," the answer to our problems lies in our "Lack of Christian Faith." Or like when computers, the Internet, telecommunications, machine tools, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, containerization and so on were developed through the state system using tax money mostly under cover of military spending? Or are you talking about free trade like in the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) where America essentially gained the right to flood Mexico with US taxpayer subsidized corn?

I urge you to read this book and reach your own conclusions. Whatever you conclude about Ms Palin after reading it, at a minimum you’ll find this book interesting, thought-provoking rather than fluffy; personal rather than superficial. The finest line in the book is when she tells us that, we are not children, and President Obama is not our father. Prior to reading this book, I found Sarah Palin to be an interesting, refreshing politician who I enjoyed listening to. If you choose to buy this book, I have one question: Would you like to buy a bottle of “Magic Hair Restorer” to go along with it? She has tainted the field of literature for years to come. Not greedy Americans who don’t know when to stop spending. According to Palin’s “America by Heart,” the answer to our problems lies in our “Lack of Christian Faith.” Or like when computers, the Internet, telecommunications, machine tools, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, containerization and so on were developed through the state system using tax money mostly under cover of military spending? Or are you talking about free trade like in the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) where America essentially gained the right to flood Mexico with US taxpayer subsidized corn?

People of faith and hope are following her. I have a better opinion than most, and I am 11. Looking forward to episode of her show tonight! She should cool her jets, take a break from the spotlight, bookshelves, and microphones, and figure out if she really wants to keep this up.

She believes the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are defining documents. The Constitution is the wall that separates freedom from tyranny. It goes on to talk about the amazing document that is the Constitution. She talks about her love for our basic rights that are not given by the government, only protected by it. Sarah Palin is an excellent writer. This is a must read for anyone who wants to understand her views on matters that are near and dear to all of us, with wonderful pearls of common sense wisdom.

Oh wait – that’s that evil liberal socialism and entitlements. It seems to mean much more to Sarah if someone slaps a $2.00 made in China empty symbol magnet on their car than if someone actually does try to support the troops, bring them home alive, and not send them to Iraq or Afghanistan at all. It’s a good read. Enjoy and learn why this country is great and how the Left is attempting to take America apart. He did exactly what he said he would do. Politicians help themselves and their corporate donors, we pay for it.

Her enthusiasm for this great country is contagious, her love for life so tangible, that you can’t help feeling uplifted and proud to be an American. She quotes and reflects on speeches and writings of other great Americans who have inspired her and touched her life.

I mean there are plenty of dunce liberal women in politics like Barbara Boxer and I can go on and on. Cheap Recliners.
