Governor Ritter Signs New Colorado DUI Law

On May 25th, 2010, Governor Bill Ritter signed into law new legislation requiring tougher penalties in DUI (Driving Under the Influence) or DWAI (Driving While Ability Imparied) cases. Texting and Driving Outlawed in Colorado

On December 1st, 2009 Colorado State Govenor Ritter signed into law a bill outlawing text messaging while driving. The new law will make texting and driving a Class A driving infraction.
